What Does a Good Survey Look Like?

#1

Hello everyone I have to come up with a survey regarding if mentoring is needed in our communities. If any of you have any ideas please post them. I would appreciate them thanks in advance.

Hi @Danyelle_J_Delves: I find this to be a pretty good primer: http://www.visioncritical.com/sites/default/files/pdf/10Tips_SurveyDesign.pdf

Also some things to avoid: http://www.surveygizmo.com/survey-blog/10-common-survey-mistakes-part-2/

If’ you’d like support, post the survey here and I’m sure we’d be happy to help!

Great survey Danyelle! If I still had a child in public school I would appreciate a survey like this one. Parents need to voice their concerns and teachers like you are so rare. How do you reach out to them? Do you have colleagues who help you help parents? Are you on your own?

@Danyelle_J_Delves - I want to take this survey! Where should I send you the results? Should I post it here as a reply so other people can see it? Should I send it to you in a private message? Is there an online version of it I can take? (Have you ever seen www.surveymonkey.com?)
